The project “European Intercultural Dialogue through SPA Tourism”, 2017-3-BG01-KA105-046973 ended successfully.

The mobility project was implemented from April, 17 through April 27, 2018, in cooperation with the following partners:

NGO GLOBALIS, Bulgaria, and
AROGI AMKE, Greece

The aim and the specific objectives of the project were: Upgrade the theoretical knowledge, skills and competencies of 60 young people in the field of tourism and in particular – SPA tourism, and discovering opportunities to enhance its competitive advantages in both countries.

Main activities:
– Conducting non-formal education
– Building communication skills
– Customer service training
– Information exchange regarding SPA tourism – Teamwork on SPA tourism-themed projects

The main achievements of the project were the following:
1. Raising the knowledge, skills and competencies about the specifics of SPA tourism and about development of specialized SPA products.
2. Increasing the motivation of young people to actively participate in nonformal learning.
3. Mediation of the cultural dialogue

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s programme for boosting skills and employability through activities organized in the field of education, training, youth, and sport. Youth activities under Erasmus+ aim to improve the key competencies, skills and employability of young people, promote young people’s active participation in the society, their social inclusion and well-being, and foster improvements in youth work and youth policy at local, national and international level.
